Then, at the stroke of 12.30 pm, it went off again and after a few tries to various phones, it was again finally answered, but the response this time round went like this....
I: The power has gone off, again. Why?
KPLC: Oh, it's a big problem.
I: So, how long is it going to take for it to be restored?
KPLC: Well, since it's just gone off, we don't know what it is all about. So till then you have to have patience (their favourite word).
Now, consider the above conversation. Their first response being that it's a big problem, but, then later when asked how long it would take before normalcy would resume, I'm being told that they don't know what exactly is the problem.
I find these kind of responses 'no-brainers', because how did the guy know the first time that it was a big problem and then is telling me when pushed to give me a time scale that they don't know what the problem is in the first place. How did he know it was a big problem as the first response?
Then, after over 2 hours of outage it finally came back but from that time to now (time of writing this), we've had 2 fluctuations and just a few minutes ago an outage of less than 5 minutes but a fluctuation, too.
We have no idea how many more outages/fluctuations we're still in store for through the night and into tomorrow, etc., but, one wonders - Is this set up EVER going to get better....., at least, in our lifetime?
