Sir David Attenborough narrates his unique version of the song 'What a Wonderful World' accompanied by images from the BBC's wildlife and natural history archive. First broadcast as a trailer for the series 'Frozen Planet' in 2011.

Some may wonder, why the Muslim Times' has chosen this video clip and narration of this song by Sir David Attenborough, as our new year message and gift.
The answer is simple and we intend to answer it by a short quote from the writings of the Messiah, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. He wrote:
Man has, therefore, been reminded that his God is the Lord and Providence of the Universe, so that the horizon of his hopes may be extended and he may believe that God, the Supreme, has immense beneficial powers and that He can bring into being an extensive variety of means for his benefit.[1]

His career as the face and voice of natural history programmes has endured for 60 years. He is best known for writing and presenting the nine Life series, in conjunction with the BBC Natural History Unit, which collectively form a comprehensive survey of all life on the planet. He is also a former senior manager at the BBC, having served as controller of BBC Two and director of programming for BBC Television in the 1960s and 1970s. He is the only person to have won a BAFTA in black and white, colour, HD and 3D.
Attenborough is widely considered a national treasure in Britain, although he himself does not like the term.[2][3][4] In 2002 he was named among the 100 Greatest Britons following a UK-wide vote.[5] He is a younger brother of director, producer and actor Richard Attenborough.[6]
